MAYBE I’M AMAZED…

THIS PAST WEEK I WAS IN FLORIDA…IT WAS HOT, TOO HOT!

IT WAS HUMID!

BUT………FOR THE FIRST TWO DAYS, THE CLOUDS WERE ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT AND PUT ON A CONSTANTLY CHANGING SKY SHOW DURING THE DAYTIME.

AT SUNSET…THEIR GRAND FINALE…PEOPLE JUST STOOD AND STARED, TAKING PICTURES FROM THE FISHING PIER…

AND EVERYONE WAS QUIET..I’VE NEVER SEEN THAT HAPPEN BEFORE…USUALLY PEOPLE ARE CHATTERING AWAY, CALLING OUT TO THEIR CHILDREN, DARTING ABOUT ON THE PIER.

THIS WAS DIFFERENT…SOMEHOW IT FELT LIKE BEING IN A CHURCH…AND I THINK WE WERE.

When flying as a pilot, one must always respect the landing and take-off style of others. Let’s face it, some pilots are just better than others. Sometimes you experience that wonderful, gentle landing…other times your glasses fall off and your dentures fall out from the impact of the landing. Some pilots make graceful turns, others have you laying on your side and getting to know the person in the next seat much more personally than you’d like to.
