Look at that sweet little face.
I wonder what the little bird’s name is,”sweet pea”,
It’s possible that this bird considers itself to be a rough and tough character. Perhaps it imagines itself a superhero of the bird world. It’s possible that it goes by the name of “Hercules”.
Of course I’ll never know what it’s name is…unless it can talk…then I would want to know a lot more than what it’s name is.
I looked out the window today and the turkey parents were shepherding their young across the northwest corner of the backyard!
I haven’t seen them in quite a while and I was really happy to see that everyone was present and accounted for.
I’m wondering if turkeys name their young…if so, what would they name them? I’m having a hard time imagining a turkey named Cindy, or Tony. That brings up the subject of last names. I can’t wrap my head around that…I really can’t.
BLUE JAYS… SMART, QUICK, CLEVER, BEAUTIFUL…FREE.
THE “CALL” THAT IS MOST ASSOCIATED WITH THEM, IS LOUD…MENTIONED OFTEN AS A “JEER”. THEY MAKE THEIR PRESENCE AND OPINION KNOWN. THEY USE THIS JEER TO WARN OTHERS IN THEIR FLOCK.
THEY ARE BRAVE…THEY FEAR NO OTHER BIRD, TAKING ON HAWKS THAT ARE FOUR TIMES THEIR SIZE.
THEY SOAR THROUGH THE AIR AND FLY HIGH TOWARD THE HEAVENS.
I ASKED THIS GROUP OF BLUE JAYS WHAT THEIR NAMES WERE…
EACH ONE ANSWERED…”I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE.”
I AM CHARLIE.
The doggy parade continues! I think the little pink tongue in the pink stroller is a nice touch….I think that dog’s name was “Doughnut”…or maybe it was “Starbucks”…or then again, maybe it was “Panini”…( is that a sandwich or a famous opera singer?)
The two little white dogs in the stroller were named “Bridezilla” and “Groomzilla”…there must be quite a story behind that…
The little curious guy in the stroller by himself was named, (Please remove your children from the room….)…
Goodness! What a thing to name your cute little, itsy-bitsy baby!!
