PEEK-A-BOO…

Egret 2364 (1 of 1)

I like the look this egret was giving me…or maybe it was giving that look to the handsome egret that was standing next to me…it could have been that.

I love to watch these birds fly, but I enjoy watching them prowl the edge of the water. They’re white color against the water is striking.

TIME FOR A CAREER CHANGE…

For blog There's a shadow on my back 3093

WHY WOULD THE EGRET WITH THE  BIRD FOOT PRINTS ON IT’S BACK CHOOSE A CAREER SUCH AS  THIS.?

FIRST OF ALL…I DIDN’T KNOW THAT BIRDS HAD TO LAND ON THE BACK OF ANOTHER BIRD WHEN THEY WANT TO LAND.

SECONDLY,  HOW DOES A BIRD DECIDE THAT IT WANTS TO BECOME  A BIRD LANDING PLATFORM IN THE FIRST PLACE??  IS IT A FAMILY CAREER KIND OF THING…LIKE WITH HUMANS WHERE THERE IS A LONG HISTORY OF FAMILY MEMBERS BECOMING POLICE OFFICERS  OR FIREMEN?

AND  ONE MORE  “WONDER”…HOW DO  THEY PRACTICE UNTIL THEY LEARN THEIR CRAFT?  WHO VOLUNTEERS TO FLY HIGH UP INTO THE AIR AND THEN TAKE THE CHANCE THAT THE LANDING PLATFORM BIRD WILL BE IN THE RIGHT SPOT AT THE RIGHT TIME? PERHAPS THAT IS ANOTHER CAREER PATH THAT A BIRD CHOOSES…I WONDER WHAT THAT CAREER IS CALLED?    SIGH…I SUPPOSE I WILL NEVER KNOW, UNLESS YOU ALL HAVE SOME INFORMATION THAT YOU COULD PROVIDE?
