Just passing through.

Last month this confident guy passed through the back of our property. He set a slow but steady pace and took his time getting to the break in the fence that the turkeys use as well as the deer to get to the property next door. I would love to put a trail camera in that location, but the last one I had worked one time and pfft….that was it.

Loping along with attitude.

I think we should all take five minutes out of our day and behave like the deer on the right.

We should leap into a moment,

kick up our heels, and enjoy…being, just being.

Here’s hoping you take your five minutes…I stretch it out to 30 minutes, but, that’s just me.

AHA!

All three deer together (39 of 1)Can I eat this food too? wm (39 of 1)

I had noticed that the little bird feeder tray was unusually clean in the mornings and thought…raccoons.

Nope. Deer.

One afternoon I was walking across the studio close to the outside door and a mere five feet from me were three deer at the feeder.

I’ve seen these characters passing through quite often, but I had no idea that they’d discovered the little feeding tray.

I thought the little buck was ADORABLE, look at it sniffing the rose bush.Done wm Little buck and the rose bush 4643_edited-1

Well darn it. Now I know who ate all of my rose bushes. 😞 Mystery solved, disappointment activated.
