I know…I know. I shouldn’t photoshop, but I really wanted to show off this bluebird’s beauty. Eliminating the distraction of the background was the only way to get the result that I wanted.
There is no one in the world who knows how to do everything in Photoshop. I have used it for more years than I can remember. I have had training in it. Every time I learn 2 new things they add 10 new things. It is a great tool when used for good.
And who says that one shouldn’t use the Photoshop tools? You haven’t added in anything that wasn’t there already, just de-emphasized elements that did not contribute to you visualization of the image you had in mind. Well done.
Really a beautiful bird. I used to see them in the spring way up in northern BC. Not so much down here on Vancouver Island. Not at all, that I can remember.
It’s a treat when I see them. Up until two years ago, I had no idea we had so many around here. I might have seen one every couple of years before. Happy New Year!
We’re trying hard to stay healthy…no family get togethers, except for zoom game night which has been a lot of fun and helps with the isolation from family. Thank God we have our cameras and our WordPress friends!
Gorgeous bird, and wonderfully posed and lit!

I get curious about learning more about how to use it, but I only know how to do one thing!

That’s about it for us too, and I agree about the cameras and WP friends.
