Watch me do something cool! Here’s a close up! It’s farther than it looks. You can see a close up below After all that, I needed a pinecone snack! It’s important to have carbs for energy.
They’re amazing how far they can jump and how they can cling to tiny branches, sometimes upside down. BTW, I love that photo of the forest in your header!
My husband and I were walking in the woods once and a squirrel missed it’s mark…it fell right out of the air at our feet. Wait a minute, maybe that’s what it meant to do! It’s been so beautiful this fall and I wanted to capture a the “gold”, but this was the best I could do…thank you though! I love your sunflowers!
If we didn’t have a fence, the deer would eat every last bit of green stuff. They are town deer now, with so many houses having sprung up, and anyone with a garden has to have a deer fence or lose it.
Thanks Suzanne. Hopefully the 1st walk will launch overnight to be ready for your morning. A different blog than the other. Should be fun. See you on the beach. 🌴
Hard to be a successful flying squirrel when you aren’t built that way. Looks like giving it “the old college try” helps a lot. 🐿

Thanks. I suppose it will soon be time for something else when the sunflowers are gone. The birds are eating the seeds of the sunflowers now.

That would be fun to watch! The deer ate my attempt at growing sunflowers before they had a chance to do their sunflower thing.
