How’s everybody doing? I have run out of chocolate, but thank God I still have a box of Lucky Charms cereal tucked away.
This cute male bluebird enjoyed one of our rare days of sun this past week and told me through the window into the woods, to ration the bird seed. How did they know we were going to be tightening our belts and avoiding close contact with people?
When I think about it, I have noticed birds lined up at the windows watching my laptop screen when I read COVID-19 updates. Is there even MORE to birds than we knew?
Now I’m wondering if they ARE able to read, what else can they do?
Gardening?
Paint with their feet?
Square dance?
Direct traffic?
The mind boggles.
The birds are waiting to catch all the people who write “corvid-19” instead of “covid”…

You should be saving those Lucky Charms for St. Patrick’s Day. It appears, with all the closures and parade cancellations, that is the only way to celebrate. Slainte!

What a cutie! This Corona has made people behave with very primitive ways. One shopkeeper, a big food shop, told today people fight in the shop, steel from each other’s carriers, and they are all adults. Black markets for toilet paper and hand desinfection soaps start to open in internet, so better to stay with birds.

It’s so sad to see people reacting this way. I never in my life imagined something like this would really happen, that people would act like something out of a disaster movie.

I meant to say no reason for panic, because panicking makes everything more difficult. We are just at the beginning of the epidemia.

Such a beautiful bird. You’ve captured a sweet picture of him/her. Good to take our minds off the horrors of the news these days.

Thank you, I’m going to try to post things that will help us focus on something else for a while. When I got stressed over it all last night,I thought about being like the leaf as you mentioned. Worked pretty well!

If we can’t change things, there’s no sense worrying about it. We can focus on the things we can do and that’s enough. Your photos help us to think about other things. There is still a beautiful world out there if we choose to look at it instead of at the depressing news.

Thank you for such a wonderful compliment. If I can distract people for just a moment, I’ll be very happy.
