Tomorrow there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms, I watched a show on The Weather Channel the other day about the dangers of lightning. Below are some things that I already knew, but it’s always good to review the info.
IF, we get lightning, I will refrain from going fishing, golfing, using sinks, standing near a window, using anything metal, taking showers, of course I won’t be going outside, or taking shelter under a tree, in short…I will be relaxing under the bed reading a book.
A WINDOW INTO THE WOODS 
As long as there is a good book involved I can hide from lightening forever. 😉

The lighting seems to hit the house, but ist must be faraway. What a terrible amount of electricity exploding in one lightning!

Even though my husband is a full blown adult, I still caution him if he decides he’s going to sit on the porch and watch lightning. It’s gotten to the point that I just ask him if his life insurance is paid up. I then tell him to go right ahead.
