I’ve had time to enjoy the birds now that I have a window into the woods again, I’ve also not been out and about doing much of anything. Here’s some advice.
Take your Vit. C, rest, eat well, go to bed early, avoid human contact of any sort. I would advise that you stay away from your pets too, even fish. I came down with laryngitis and haven’t had a voice for nine days. I know how I picked up my germs and I have my husband locked in a closet right now. With the holidays coming, everyone should be in anti-virus mode, make sure you have plenty of closets to lock family members in if they begin to sniffle.
Back to the birds. They seem to be in fine shape. Flitting back and forth in front of my window, fighting over the peanuts I put out for them…not one of them appears to have a cold. The point of all this rambling around is that you’re going to see a lot of bird images on here for a while. I know, why couldn’t I have just said that in the first place?
My hubby always make me sick too. You always hurt the ones you love…. You know the song?

I do know that song, lol! You have my sympathies, in sickness and in health.

Looking forward to your lovely bird photos, Suzanne. Hope you’re feeling better soon. I’ve been using the sinus rinse most days just to keep the germs discouraged. I bet you’re enjoying your new house (with all its closets). 😉

LOL, haven’t felt well enough to enjoy the house, until just the last day. I’m going to have to explore the sinus rinse. Thanks!

You do this as a preventative measure?

I use it whenever I feel the first hint of a tickle of a sore throat, morning and night, until the tickle goes away (which it usually does by the second or third day).
