Be on the lookout for baseball players missing their shadows!
These shadows have been spotted acting erratically. The public should not be terribly alarmed unless one of these shadows attempts to attach itself to them.
If approached by a shadow, say “how you doing Bob?”, but don’t make eye contact, which might prove to be difficult in any case.
Please report all sightings to the nearest baseball team and ask if they’re missing any shadows. Then ask if there’s a reward.
I was going to say that you have the makings of a freaky novel there but your first commenter says it may have already been written. I’ll be checking it out as well.

This reminds me of a book I just read called The Book of M by Peng Shepherd. It’s all about shadows and it’s really freaky!! You should read it.

Perfect memory prod to that Me and My Shadow poem by Stevenson – or maybe that Frank Sinatra song – he’d be into baseball more HAHA

Thanks Anneli! I seem to really be in an “on and off” creative phase. It’s driving me crazy…I really think I need to get out of this apartment and back to the property we were living in…maybe, if we’re lucky, the end of Sept. Thanks for the mention of the header, I just loved watching these triplets play one morning.

We’re getting very close, hopefully it will be. I’m always afraid to get excited about things…superstitious I guess.

I know what you mean. You don’t want to jinx anything, but I’m happy for you that it’s nearly there.
