Have you ever been stuck in a closet?
It’s a question I thought I would posit.
Could you escape in a minute?
Or would you relax and stay in it
Writing to Shakespeare, a sonnet.
(Oliver asked me to tell you that he did get out of the closet very quickly and yes, I need to practice learning how to spell my last name.)
Superb photo

Note that I misspell my last name about 1 out of every three times, usually as Armstrsrong. Why? No idea.

Congrats on finding a word to rhyme with closet 🙂 Love the picture. It’s so totally CAT.

I did my best to find something to make the rhyme work. Anneli,
of https://wordsfromanneli.com decided to whip up some poetry every so often that would more than likely break every writing rule possible. We wouldn’t break the rules intentionally, we just don’t know a lot about poetry, but like to write little things. I know, we’re ridiculous.

Maybe that alternate spelling of your last name was simply meant to be a pseudonym…you as poet…

Suzanne, I love it!!!! Very good! And I love the photo of Oliver. He looks like he could be a Siberian tiger, or a snow leopard.

It might be nice to curl up in the bottom of a cozy, dark closet and shut out the world for a wee bit…as long as I knew I could get out when I wanted.

I couldn’t agree more! Otherwise it would be a little too “Stephen King ” for me.
