I WAS IN FLORIDA A LITTLE WHILE BACK AND ONLY A DAY BEFORE, THE WEATHER CHANNELS WERE TRYING TO GUESS…WILL “ERIKA” MAKE LANDFALL AS A HURRICANE? WOULD SHE BE A TROPICAL STORM?
THIS IS THE ONLY BIT OF ERIKA THAT CAME PAST OUR AREA…A VERY HAPPY TURN OF EVENTS…ERIKA WAS A “NON-EVENT”.
Phew!

Wow, even bad weather is beautiful. I don’t understand how people in some states can take those tropical storms and hurricanes one by one. I met Hurricane Isidore in New Orleans 2002. Both scary and exciting.

I’ve never been in a full blown hurricane and I hope that I never am! I don’t think that I would have the courage to live in a state that gets the threat of them very often..and yet I live in a state that gets tornadoes and unlike hurricanes, there is not much advance warning. I guess every location has it’s risks.

I’m happy you were safe and Erica was not a hurricane. Beautiful photo of the sky
