HEY LADY IN THE WINDOW PUT THE CHOCOLATE DOWN AND FAST,
CAN’T YOU SEE THAT TIME HAS FLOWN… MY FEEDING TIME HAS PASSED.
I DON’T WANT TO BE A PEST EACH TIME I NEED TO EAT,
SO I’VE GOT A GREAT SOLUTION AND A SMALL REQUEST, MY SWEET.
I’D LIKE AN EAR OF CORN, A BAG OF CHIPS, A PEANUT WITH THE SHELL…
AND IF YOU COULD, PLEASE BE A DEAR… INSTALL A DINNER BELL.
great poem and photo!! “our” squirrels have also been getting pretty bold and cheeky lately, too! 🙂

I think the dogs would write something similar, if they thought of it. As if is, they stand at the kitchen door and bark continuously while Garry makes dinner because I believe they feel if they don’t bark, he won’t remember to feed them. Maybe the squirrel is thinking you will forget if he doesn’t remind you 🙂
