I’ll go with the salmon. We really only get fresh Scottish salmon in Scotland but the tinned salmon comes from North America.
When I used to go down from Scotland to London on the sleeper train, the guards van was always packed with Scottish salmon for the posh restaurants in London. It was loaded on in Inverness and Glasgow. I used to take my cycle with me and getting it on was often a struggle.
Mr. Cheddar says yummm…his kind of gourmet fare!!!
