BLUE JAYS… SMART, QUICK, CLEVER, BEAUTIFUL…FREE.
THE “CALL” THAT IS MOST ASSOCIATED WITH THEM, IS LOUD…MENTIONED OFTEN AS A “JEER”. THEY MAKE THEIR PRESENCE AND OPINION KNOWN. THEY USE THIS JEER TO WARN OTHERS IN THEIR FLOCK.
THEY ARE BRAVE…THEY FEAR NO OTHER BIRD, TAKING ON HAWKS THAT ARE FOUR TIMES THEIR SIZE.
THEY SOAR THROUGH THE AIR AND FLY HIGH TOWARD THE HEAVENS.
I ASKED THIS GROUP OF BLUE JAYS WHAT THEIR NAMES WERE…
EACH ONE ANSWERED…”I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE…I AM CHARLIE.”
I AM CHARLIE.

These are lovely birds. The Jays in the UK have less of the blue colour on them.

Could it be me too ?????!!!!! Quite like Charlie. Can’t believe that everyone seems to have winter outside except us in the Southern part of Sweden – just rain and windy. Haven’t seen a Blue Jay in real. Beautiful birds. I want to be a Charlie too. *smiel – have a pleasant weekend.

Me too, especially since we were just there last summer :(. I absolutely loved Paris and its wonderful people, and my heart breaks for them.

I’ve just heard that the police found and killed the terrorists…also the man who took hostages in a supermarket…The poor people of Paris must be so traumatized..
My heart breaks for them too and all of the friends and families who have lost loved ones to such evil purpose.
