My apologies. I have fallen way behind in my blog reading and today is my first day off since June 11 and most of those days were 12-14 hours a day. Anyway, I finally started catching up today and you have a lot of posts that the comments are closed on. I just wanted you to know that I enjoyed them and the shot were spectacular. I loved Dog in the Dark and the bluejays and the cardinals.

Love the cardinal picture! And you’ve caught the dove’s wings in the middle of a beat. Nicely done.

Thanks Anneli!
The cardinal was looking at a bird feeder from every direction..deciding how to approach it, I guess…

The way you’ve so cleverly composed the post, it looks like the cardinal is watching for incoming flyers – the doves.

lol..you’re the second one to mention it! I liked the idea that the cardinal was worried about that very thing…

Mr. Cardinal is watching over his shoulder for the incoming Dove. He is afraid it will land on him.
