“Mom! Mom! Can I hug you? I want to hug you!”
Today I met the babies that mama raccoon has been hiding. They came out from under the deck, one at a time and this was the first one to arrive.

Wow! That’s so cute. 🙂
That little one in particular had SO much silly personality 🙂
Very cool shots!
Thanks so much!
Fantastic you can take photo’s of the little ones
🙂 Very lucky!
now those are tender family bonding moments! 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂
Kids would be out of the question if I had to lick them clean. Especially, if they were covered in that much hair.
Great shots!
Thanks…I never thought about having to lick my children before…I’m not sure if I should thank you for making me think about it or not!
All you need is love….right? Adorable pics, Suzanne. 🙂
Right! 🙂 Thanks AD!
So sweet! 🙂
🙂 I totally agree!
I LOVE Mom’s expression in picture 2. These are wonderful, Suzanne!
Awwww…Thanks! That little baby just adored it’s Mama and was really silly with it’s siblings…Mama’s face, I agree, speaks volumes!
I can just hear that kid going on incessantly … “Mom. Mom. Mom.” Mom’s helpless, resigned look in the second pic is hilarious.
LOLOLOL….yep…her face says it all 🙂
They’re really beautiful animals, but not when they make a home in your attic.
We’ve had that happen before!!
Too cute, I mean if you disregard the claws and sharp pointy teeth. 😉
Fantastic photos!
Thanks..I had so much fun…that little one is a character..tons of personality!
They are such hands-on, touchy-feely critters. My older brothers raised one as a pet when they found it at a very young age. It was very entertaining. As winter approached, it started looking for a warm spot to overnight. Dad said to haul it away to the woods when it started removing shingles.
LOL! Oh goodness!!
Awwww, so adorable!! Thanks for the morning smile :).
🙂 You’re welcome!
Sono deliziosi. Bellissimi scatti. Ciao Pat
Grazie mille Pat!
They are kind of cute.
In an extremely scary sort of way!
Especially if you’re a chicken or a small pet. They can really do a number on you if you get too close. A woman in Vancouver was bitten quite badly when one came in her open window. I don’t know if she’d been feeding them or had food out, but she had bad bites from the encounter, so be very careful.
We make sure that we wear shoes when we walk where they walk…they carry some really horrible parasites….when you hear the noises they make just fighting with each other it sends chills up your spine….no raccoon encounters for me please…I stay far, far away…and shoot the images through a closed window!
I didn’t know about the parasites but I’ve heard them fighting. They’re really very fierce, but so cute to look at. Closed window sounds good.
