APPARENTLY TO GROW A SQUIRREL, YOU PUT PEANUTS DOWN IN THE BOTTOM OF A FLOWER POT….
YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE FIRST IMAGE…ALREADY THE TAIL HAS BEGUN TO GET LONGER…
NOW THE TAIL HAS GROWN EVEN TALLER…PLENTY OF SUNSHINE SEEMS TO BE HELPFUL…
BY SOME MIRACLE OF NATURE, THE ENTIRE LOOK OF YOUR SQUIRREL PLANT WILL CHANGE AND YOU WILL HAVE GROWN A SQUIRREL!
SO APPARENTLY…EVERY TIME THAT YOU FEED THE CHIPMUNKS AND SQUIRRELS PEANUTS AND THEY RUN AWAY WITH THEM AND BURY THEM…THEY ARE ACTUALLY PLANTING SQUIRRELS. NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MANY SQUIRRELS AROUND…I WONDER IF NINJA SQUIRRELS ARE GROWN WITH SALTED PEANUTS? I ONLY PUT OUT ROASTED, NO SALT PEANUTS.
hhahahhahhahahahaha

Squirrels can be such goofballs. It is always fun to see them get into and out of a situation.
Alex Autin told me about your blog and photographs. Very nice. I am impressed. I look forward to more in the future.

These are just the cutest and so entertaining. Sure glad your peanuts don’t have salt. The last thing you need is squirrels with hypertension – LOL

I LOVE this! Such cute pictures! My son keeps telling me that there are squirrels sitting on the flowerpots on my front steps. I thought they were burying the peanuts I’d put out (roasted, no salt). Maybe they were “growing” new squirrels here, too! 🙂

I LOVE that! How very cute. My son keeps telling me the squirrels are sitting on my flower pots at home. I thought maybe they were burying some of the peanuts I’d put out (we also do roasted, no salt). Now I wonder if maybe mine are growing out of the pots, too? 🙂

Any recommendations as to how often one should water one’s squirrel?

When it starts to dry out a little, water it until water runs out of the bottom….the bottom of the flower pot..not the squirrel.

You would probably have squirrels with very high blood pressure if you started giving them salted peanuts.
