CLARIFICATION
I thought I’d drop in this little post, first of all to thank you all for your concern and
thoughtful remarks. Secondly, I wanted to explain a “little” bit more.
I’m sure some of you have had the sad experience of watching someone’s life unravel.
I’ve experienced this in two ways before, and now sadly, a third time.
I’m fine….just sad to look back and reflect on the fact that I never would have guessed
this was how things would turn out for them, and for the people who love them.
So I hope this explains my remarks a bit. Just got “knocked off my axis”
when I realized, here we are again. I want you to know that I am so grateful
to have a WONDERFUL husband, loving children, my Mother,
Jim “the silly” and my Sister, who has come “home”.
There are others of course, but I wanted to say in particular that
I’m very grateful to have all of YOU! I’m pretty sure that you all feel as I do,
it’s a gift to have “travelling companions” who are so witty, with big open hearts,
questioning and insightful minds, and a love for learning and sharing and laughing.
It warms the heart to experience the caring and witness the willingness of so many to
take the time to stop and “lift someone up”.
All is well….so off we go with our day,
see you tonight for the further antics of “Baldy”.

YOU’VE ALL GONE CRAZY….BUT I LIKE IT!
Well, here I am again…at a loss for words (which you know won’t last), staring six awards in the face!!!!
My mind has been running in circles, (which I must thank you all for, as it doesn’t get much exercise). Where to begin?
I’m going to totally mess up the rules and requirements, because when faced with this much adulation my mind fractures.
I hope you’ll all forgive me if I consolidate the random info about me, to just seven items, because you just DO NOT want to
know that much about me. I DO want to thank all of you taking the time to stop by and ‘LIKE’ my blogs..You make my
day! Your comments make me laugh, make me gasp, and touch me deeply at times…I’m amazed at the effect that blogging
can have on the emotions. It has definitely enriched my world..Thank you all for the little footprints you’ve left on
my heart.

O.K. here goes….Seven random things….
1. I wish my husband and my daughter would quit hounding me to paint my nails…I’m handling a camera all of the time,
that polish is NEVER going to stay on..
2. I buy silly toys all the time and then think of someone that I can “surprise” with a goofy gift.
3. I chipped TWO teeth this week eating an apple.
4. My dog is beginning to love my daughter more than me, because she keeps having to “dog-sit” him and now he always
want to go home with her. 
5. I spilled water all over myself three times yesterday and then a whole bag of popcorn..hmmmmmmmmmm
6. The next time I fly I might actually buy a glass of wine..but if I did that, I’d still be asleep, drooling on the
poor person sitting next to me when we landed. The thought of that stops me every time and I just end up buying
“pringles”.
7. I’m doing a speaking engagement for 65 people tomorrow and I can feel the terror building..CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!

What Could Be Better Than Rolling In The Mud?
Bob Captures My Heart
this afternoon, incredible. The wind was gusting at 50 miles an hour…and on impulse, I decided
to pay a visit to “the boys”.
I hadn’t been over to see them in months and I wasn’t prepared for the welcome I received.
In all of my other visits the herd was curious, polite, and aloof. Yes, I could take their photo.
Yes,they would tolerate me in the field with them as long as I understood that they would follow me if it was determined that
I was a threat to National Security.
They do not trust my camera bag, and if I sit it down and walk away the bomb squad, consisting of Joe and Bob, comes over.
Keeping to a safe distance, they glare at it.
If they glare at ME, I remove MYSELF to a safe distance and try not to make eye contact.
Today was different. As you can see they grouped up and proceeded to meet me as I entered
the gate. WELL! You would have thought I had grown a tail and a mouth full of gigantic teeth.
I was welcomed as if I was a long lost brother! Joe,,Head of the Herd,,came up to get many, many pats on the head.
Bob repeatedly came up to me for conversation, pats on the head,and grand gestures of affection.
If I tell all of my secrets, don’t repeat this one… (I actually gave them each a kiss on the forehead), after which I stood in amazement. To be allowed to pat their neck’s and brush back their crazy wind-blown hair was one thing. To bestow a kiss?
The memory will last me all my life.
So feast your eyes on Blond Bob, the herd, and Jack rolling in the mud. You can then
imagine me sitting here. Full up with the wonderful feeling that I get when I’ve looked at
life through the lens and felt the warm gentle breath on my face of a most spectacular
creature.
