This little one was just minding its own business..getting a little drink…keeping it’s distance from the bigger raccoons.

After “Baby”climbed over into the bowl that contained some birdseed, “Mama” saw what the baby was doing and
decided that this wasn’t such a bad idea……
even though this was HER baby, she was pretty rough on it…
apparently in order to make the other raccoon give way.,.you back into the space they’re in
and proceed to try to dis-lodge the other raccoon by using your “posterior”.

Despite “Mama’s” best efforts, this baby stayed in the bowl..
when even a SECOND adult raccoon climbed into the bowl…
the little one gave no ground and remained in the bowl…pretty much buried…
but still eating.
BABIES OF THE WOODS…..
These are my little visitors from last evening….let me introduce you to
Mama Groundhog and her baby…there are actually three groundhogs visiting,
and the other one seems quite young…but it doesn’t follow the other
two.

I call this image…”I am the bravest of the brave”…all of
his brother’s and sister’s ran for the woods when they
heard a deer arriving, but this one took precautions and
when Dash the deer showed up, down the tree it came.
