THE DANCE OF THE BLUE HERONS…
I apologize for the lack of clarity in these images, but I couldn’t resist posting them….I love them…not sure just why, but I love the flow of these…..I was out shooting images for a project and hadn’t expected to come across some fast moving subjects…doing a lot of “still life” up until that moment…but there they were, I wasn’t ready, but I took the shots anyway…

I wish there was a like like like button on word press. How uttertly beautiful!

I like the movement in these photographs. Glad you posted.

Never apologise for shots like these… they are captures not often got… one would like them picture perfect, but then you would have to ask them to do it over and over… natures dances are seldom captured on camera unless you have someone paying you to sit there day in and day out, and even then one might not get it… think of the National Geographic photographers that spend months in the wilds to capture the perfect shot… even they might not capture that moment in time… these things often happen, no normally happen, when least expected, and to capture such movement is a luck few of us get the chance to experience… I think they are brilliant captures, and to be able to share them an absolute privilege.. you are one very lucky lady… I love them and think they are picture perfect, not much wrong with the clarity or focus if you ask me… in fact quite jealous I have never seen this let alone capture it on camera… love it..

that second shot is pretty amazing, what are they doing? The feathers and colors are so beautiful and clear. Blue Heron Bosanova?

I’m really not feeling any sympathy right now…
Hope the AC works though, and that you’re keeping a cold bottle of water with you.
February 13, 2013 at 9:07 pm
Yes…thank god the AC works….hehe….no sympathy huh?….if it makes you feel any better, the sea gulls hate me, the sand is full of little miniature zombies, (not the ones that surfaced in Montana, these are smaller and can only eat the tips of your toes), my bicycle helmet makes me look like I got hit in the face with a basketball, the darn bakery that sells scones closes too darn early, the apples are trying to force me to eat one a day, and the stuffed lion I bought is giving me the evil eye…any sympathy yet?..and oh yeah, every time I buy chocolate….I EAT IT!! One more thing…there’s something clucking behind my couch…

And all these terrible things are happening where, you say? Oh, Florida?
Did you know it’s supposed to snow again in NY?
Hmph.
Seriously, I hope you’re having a great time while you’re there!
February 13, 2013 at 10:52 pm
Oh poor NY…poor you
Are you well yet??
I’ll have a good time in about two more days…pushing really hard on a project..nearing the end of the push…(I think)…It will be raining here tonight, tomorrow and Friday…so….see, I will be having yucky weather too!
February 13, 2013 at 11:46 pm
You wouldn’t have wanted to miss those! They’re fantastic. If you’d asked them to pose, they couldn’t have been better.
February 13, 2013 at 7:32 pm
It was all over in a second, you’re right, I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to miss them.
February 13, 2013 at 8:52 pm
