    • Getting older is not for the faint of heart that’s for sure….he is just the “salt of the earth” :)

  2. She did just a wonderful job…I have had two people ask me to take them or a family member out to visit Melvin and the horses, so the whole thing with Bob has just taken on a life of it’s own….the book signing ought to be fun…I had to laugh..a woman called up the retailer hosting the signing and asked if I was the actress from “Days Of Our Lives”…I wish!

  4. Man….. I hope you sign so many books you get a cramp in the wrist…. it’ll mean you’ve sold hundreds…. what ever happened to that spotted horse you were going back to photo… the brown and white.???

    • AS far as signing that many books….wouldn’t that be cool? They’ve already gotten some phone calls and people coming in to buy the book before the signing to make sure that they get one. :) ….The spotted horse….I have now found out that it is a ” Leopard Appaloosa”….I need to go back and look for it again..it wasn’t there the last time…BUT…I’m excited..I have a Festival that I’ll be in on October 13, and I’m going to show a LOT of the different parts of the horse, like I did on the post..but more…. and then in the middle of the ” puzzle” will be the complete picture.

      • that sure sounds exciting… and good luck with the signing… if the book is half as good as your photos… it has to be magnificent…
The photos with parts and then the whole will be outstanding… good luck with that as well… I would love to see more photos of that horse… I went to the horse club here in the outback to see if there was anything worth shooting…. I found a similar coloured horse… have taken photos but will only post when I get back to civilization…

        • I can’t wait to see the photos of the horse!! I’ll be keeping an eye on the location where we first saw the horse..strange that we went back and it was gone…but, the first time it was a Sunday, so maybe it was out and about with it’s Amish owner..
