Your thoughts fascinate me........so go on....fascinate me.
Your Bluejays (American variety) are so much prettier than ours (UK variety)! And that chipmunk… the birds did look a bit alarmed!

They are such beautiful birds! Pity about the wet mark!
September 24, 2012 at 1:29 pm
I’m not much for using photoshop so I just decide to go with them.
September 24, 2012 at 1:35 pm
I think the chipmunk is oblivious to what’s going on around him…
September 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm
Hehe….I wonder how many times that’s happened to me in some way and I just didn’t know it!
September 24, 2012 at 1:15 pm
Cheers to the jay for getting the chipmunk … after all, the munk was hogging the food!
September 24, 2012 at 12:38 pm
Hog it they will! But the Jay’s will not mess with the chipmunks…fearsome little creatures…I didn’t post one image…vicious. But everybody went home all smiles.
September 24, 2012 at 1:16 pm
Really … I didn’t realize the blue bullies scared of munks.
September 24, 2012 at 1:17 pm
It’s amazing….they are such a tough bird, but they don’t mess with chipmunks…EVER…I’ve watched them many times when a chipmunk is in that bowl and they wait until little cutie-pie has left the building.
September 24, 2012 at 1:21 pm
Who would have thunk it!
September 24, 2012 at 1:22 pm
Looking at the blue jay, I see that he is really quite beautiful. Your photos do him justice.
September 24, 2012 at 11:18 am
Thanks
….They are gorgeous birds, I never have paid much attention to them in the past..but I think they are the most beautiful bird we have locally.

Another great post, Miss Z. I’m pretty partial to that chipmunk. I think you should name him Cheeky – LOL
September 24, 2012 at 4:06 am
I just met with the retailer that is running the book signing Saturday and she asked how ” the next book” was coming! Yikes! Cheeky may have a new career…I need a new subject for a book…or else I need to get my head examined,,that might be a better plan::)
September 27, 2012 at 7:26 pm
Sometimes life leads us to places we never thought we’d go. Your heart won’t steer you wrong – you’re a darn good writer, Miss Z.
September 28, 2012 at 12:15 am
Ohhhhhhh…You are really, really nice..Thank you Gina..that means a lot to me.
September 28, 2012 at 12:40 am
Such strong blues in the first, third, and fourth. You didn’t happen to mess with the saturation did you?
September 24, 2012 at 2:30 am
Believe it or not..no……the second was taken on a different day….They just are this rich in color because the day was overcast and that certainly makes a difference…I much prefer it.
September 24, 2012 at 2:35 am
As do I.
Overcast days are the best when photographing flowers as well, little do most people know, since it allows for fine tweaking in post-processing without image degradation.
