It’s an incredible footage. Even if you asked a seagull, it wouldn’t happen.
I wonder how small the camera was ?
(And still only 8 people saw this youtube ? — it got to be million )
1) A camera with Fisheye lens adapter couldn’t be small and light enough
for a seagull to pick-up and fly.
2) Camera has been switched on shooting video while it was left on the sand.
(was that just a coincidence ?)
3) The Seagull has flown quite a distance. —– How a woman could follow and run
so quick ?
4) If Seagull grubbed the camera by strap, the camera with Fisheye lens will
hung downward = view should have been the water, but it was pointing upward.
And a camera is not easy to grip by the seagull feet.
Therefore, my conclusion is ” This footage was a fake and the Camera has been
carried by a model helicopter”
From another footages of the same author, I found
he was using small “Action camera” which can be
mounted on a helmet or frame of hung-glider kind.
Still, Seagull footage couldn’t be genuine because
if it was so, why Seagull’s body or wings was not
in the picture.

I wonder if it was staged? The seagull departing seems real enough, but that could have been lured to the site with fish …

Funny. The seagull probably went in search of a more lightweight camera. Glad the camera owner got her camera back. Thanks for sharing.

Something’s not quite convincing about this, but it was a good laugh anyway. Have a great weekend, Suzanne.

On second view I started to have a suspicion —–

for a seagull to pick-up and fly.
2) Camera has been switched on shooting video while it was left on the sand.
(was that just a coincidence ?)

I agree with you….

I’m not so sure the video is a fake…look at the edges of the video at 0:07 and 0:24. I saw wing tips. Hmmmmm……

Hmmmmmmmmm…You’re right! You can’t stage that I don’t think!
