Post it, Suzanne. We can handle anything except losing this blog. I asked Boy about the book. He thinks it’s a great idea. He is nine and is happy watching animated films (even Toy Story sequels) and adult cowboy/war movies and playing adult video games. He agreed that his mom would like it too … so that about covers everybody!

Ah! The southern pool did look like your image, but with different trees. The sluice has been lowered, so most of the water is now in the river.
