WE HAVE RAIN!!!!!!   AND THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!

(Actually the thunder was so LOUD this morning, that I dreamed one

of the horses tried to accidentally kick me….I reacted so hard physically,

that I almost fell out of bed…well, after that I was AWAKE..!

Just like in the famous children’s story..”The night before Christmas”, I ran

to the window so see what was the matter…

SO MUCH RAIN…splitter splat…splatter, splatter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Such wonderful news! I am very glad to hear this! Your drought news has traveled all the way to California and I’ve been concerned. The poor earth is thirsty! Drink up! :-) Debra

    • Wow!! All the way to California….a total reversal of the norm!! You read my thoughts!…I just kept looking at the grass and the trees and the bushes, wondering…”does it feel really good?”…The sun is back,
but a ray of hope at least, and a little drink…

  4. Rain is wonderful at the right time and in the right quantities. Of course, it isn’t so nice when it overdoes it, as recently in this country!

    • Isn’t it bizarre?? You’ve been getting too much,,and we can’t get any?…I hope that it’s starts to moderate for both of us!

  6. Lucky you – we are still waiting! I love the heat, but the poor flowers and crops really need some rain. Did you go out and dance in the rain? I loved doing that with my kids when they were little :) .

    • I think this may be all that we get for awhile..but thank goodness we got this…..Horses in your head can be SCARY!!

  9. May be now that you have rain, the deluges we have been ‘enjoying’ will make way for some sunshine

    July 19, 2012 at 3:53 pm

    • I really do hope that you get a break!!!! This may be all we get for awhile again, but I’m so grateful that we got this…it’s been really hard to watch the trees as the trees die…the grass become beyond “crispy”..
We’ve already lost too many many trees,,they are beyond saving. :( Wishing you drier weather…Suzanne

  11. We were all complaining about rain a few weeks ago and now I wish it would pour.

  12. Yeah! I heard from White Cloud this morning and he said the rain dance you did was so enjoyable to watch, he just had to pour forth his blessings on you.
