I HAVE BEEN VERY, VERY, BAD….
Over the past month I have been given some lovely, wonderful awards.
Being the procrastinator that I am( did I spell that wrong?)….I have spent too many days dancing up to
the keyboard and then away again..intimidated by the idea of adequately responding.
I am now going to try to make up for my “dance of the timid”…
“SISTERHOOD OF THE WORLD BLOGGERS AWARD”…….given to me by http://hopethehappyhugger.wordpress.com/.
I am so touched that Hope felt that I should be a part of this “sisterhood”…..Hope is a VERY
special person..deep, insightful, reflective,determined and kind. Thank you Hope.
As you all know, the awards do come with some requirements of acceptance..I need
to tell you seven random things about myself…
I need to nominate fellow bloggers to share this award….I’m sorry fellas…because it’s a “sisterhood”
award, I can’t nominate any of you this time around.
So we’re off to the races with seven random things about me that you’ve probably guessed
or suspected by now…also I may have mentioned these things before, so I apologize..
1. I have a morning routine…Feed the cat first…(if kitty ain’t happy, NOBODY’S happy) Walk the dog,
feed the birds.
2. I have a weakness for chocolate (HA!!! NOW THERE’S SOMETHING YOU DIDN’T KNOW)
3. I carry a “tire bat” (truckers use these to check the pressure in the tires of their “semi’s”) when I walk my dog…darn coyotes.
4. I’m 5’6″ tall.
5 I get cranky when I’m hungry.
6 .I like airports, probably because I can always find a jumbo sized chocolate chip cookie for
sale somewhere.
7. I dream pretty much every night….(Why was Tom Hanks, the actor, riding a bicycle in my dream
two night ago?)

Congrats, I must say I do like to read your blog difficult sometimes catching up with all of them, as you have rightly pointed out with your awards, there are so many good ones!

Thank you Zanny! Now, when you say “informative” do you mean that I tend to give lectures on things, or that I’m just a bore – or are these two things the same? OR do you mean in reference to the impending War in the Woods? Or all three?
Interesting? Did you say INTERESTING? Then perhaps I can strike the “boring” bit off the list. Unless, of course, that’s just a polite way of saying that I make strange (as in crazy, off her rocker, REALLY weird) comments? Words can be interpreted in so many ways! I’m trying to find out whether I’m supposed to be the teacher (i.e. boring) or the class clown. I don’t really mind which. I just want to know in which box to file myself.
After which, I can get back to preparing for my trip by whale up to Mags’ 747 for our voyage to the party in the Red Room. Need more rubies. And chocolate! Mustn’t forget the chocolate!

I think that I do most of my “crazy” on your blog, and Dotty Headbanger’s more recently. Mags’ comes in third. I don’t think that any of the other blogs that I visit inspire the same craziness – except occasionally Elmediat’s and George Weaver’s blogs. I can really only say silly things on my own blog when I’m not translating someone else’s work, With the Friday Fictioneers I have a bit more scope now. However, your blog and Dotty’s are the one’s where I really go nuts. It’s a natural state but I usually try to keep it under control. Thank you for letting me let off steam!
