BULL RAPIDS MAMA….

These are some Amish horses that I photographed just about the same time that

I photographed “With His Permission”.  These horses are so calm, so unflappable.

  1. Love the soft, wavy coat on the baby! And his short mane. Isn’t he just gorgeous? Another proud mother!

    • Thank you! I think it’s time to spread my wings a little and try something very different.

  7. Love the group…..mwdurr stated that he rarely sees horses congregating together. I would agree with one exception. Where the horses belong to and work with an ethnic group they do seem to share that same bond of being together

    • I find this really interesting…..When I think about it “the herd” that “Bob” belongs to, congregate together..but they are a working horse and maybe that sense of “team” is what they’re all about.

  12. Must have been feeding, here in Kentucky I rarely see them congregate that close.

    • David, of “DavidOakesImages”, commented a bit after you did,,and he may be on to something….could it be because their life revolves around working as a team? They pull together all of the time, as do the herd that I am writing my book about..and those horses also “group up” from time to time…these horses weren’t eating, so that made me wonder after your remarks…

      May 30, 2012 at 12:51 pm

      • Beats me. I guess our horses are just…strange. :)
