ALWAYS COMING HOME
Today was a strange day……very strange……..
Do you ever have those days, where you get knocked off of your “axis” just
a little bit? Something occurs that is so out of your “normal” life, that
you’re not quite sure how you got there, and you never imagined you’d be
there. You realize at the end of the day, how grateful you are for your
“normal” life, and want your “normal” sense of being to return.
Today I need a little boost to center myself,,and so I “go home”
to the images that soothe.

Ooo those are pretty
Love the snowflakes on them

Thank you! That was such a fun day

i did miss this one… stupid me… now I understand your next post better… hope you are doing fine dear… and you know: CHOCOLATE always helps…

Yes, I get blown off balance all the time–so much of the time, in fact, that I don’t know what “balance” is.
Your centering pictures are wonderful. I love horses–everything about them.
May 1, 2012 at 4:13 pm
I think my early exposure to horses never really left me………..We all need to get together and walk in the pastures with them……….then we’d all have our “balance” back.

These are amazing photographs and I love to watch them… I hope you feel better now dear Suzanne, Thanks and Love, nia

Feeling much better….Glad you liked the horses!

I can understand what effect these pictures have for you. They are marvellously nice! So I guess they do the trick!

I spent time at my grandparent’s horse farm as a child..I imagine that has something to do with it.
May 1, 2012 at 12:56 pm
I think I lost normal awhile ago…but I am hoping to retrieve it again. Your photos just make me want to lay my head on the horse and stroke his mane. How soothing that would be.
May 1, 2012 at 11:10 am
awwwwwwwww..:) Normal comes and goes
May 1, 2012 at 12:56 pm
Normalacy and routine are soothing in a way, a little excitement or adventure out of the safety zone is okay but home is where the heart is
Cheers

Well, you have to come down off your high from time to time to recharge. You recharge with horses. I once fell in love with a horse. He loved me too. He wasn’t mine unfortunately. His name was Apache because he had that bi-coloured coat that the Amerindians love and breed on purpose. At least, they did. I suppose that they still do. He was a horse, but he was barely above poney size. He was white and grey. His owner was German but hardly ever rode him. We took to each other straight away – the horse and I – I never met the German. Such a beautiful boy! (Again, the horse.) I think that I’ve been up for about 24 hours now – it’s beginning to show.

lol! You need to go to bed!!! Thank you though for sharing your lovely story..White and grey, he must have been so pretty..so nice to have those memories to look back on. My grandparents had horses, but I think the horses I photo now have affected me more. My best memories of the horses back then,,,my grandfather and grandmother….humans, not horses

Hi,
Nothing worse than not feeling right, I’m sure tomorrow will be a much better day.
I love how you captured the snow lightly falling on the horses in the photos, I’m always fascinated with snow, mainly because where I live there is just no such thing.
May 1, 2012 at 6:56 am
OOHHHHH,.that’s right… I guess snow would be intriguing to you!
I’m not much for cold weather, but on the day I took these photos I was enjoying myself so much that I really didn’t mind the cold so much…I call it “the 20 degree day”. Normally, you would NEVER catch me spending an hour or so out in that weather…but the snow was doing such pretty things with the horses

May 1, 2012 at 1:07 pm

May 1, 2012 at 4:26 am
I’m OK, thanks
I’ll do a quick post and explain more.
May 1, 2012 at 1:08 pm
Both of these are obviously from a really good hair day–that has to go a long way to helping with settling back and mellowing out. At least, I sure hope so.
May 1, 2012 at 4:20 am
LOL…yes a really good hair day..and it does go a long way to setting things right..I just sat and looked at them awhile last night…I’m going to do a little note to explain things a bit.
May 1, 2012 at 1:09 pm
Whatever it is, I truly hope it’s better by now. As our blogger friend, Kenneth, says ….Where are you? Here. What time is it? Now. Be well and stay blessed.
May 1, 2012 at 3:29 am
Thank you Gina….I’m going to remember that for always.
May 1, 2012 at 1:09 pm

May 1, 2012 at 2:52 am
I know it will…just a little “off” this evening.
May 1, 2012 at 3:18 am
I really, really like that first one. It’s almost like a surfing-hair-wave.
May 1, 2012 at 2:25 am
O.k. now this is really interesting…I forgot to put it in…but I call that one….”surfs up”..I love that you “got it”.
May 1, 2012 at 3:17 am
I’m just psychic, that’s all. XD
May 1, 2012 at 3:58 am
I’ve had days like that too, and they really mess with your sense of peace. Those are the days when I could eat the entire contents of a chocolate factory. I hope your life returns to normal very soon.
Hugs!!
May 1, 2012 at 2:06 am
Thank you….I had to stop on the way home to find some low fat chocolate ice cream….LOL…Hugs!!
