“Being Bob”
I hope you don’t mind if I share a few more images of the herd.
I was reviewing some images today, and these just jumped out
at me. This winter has not been nearly as “snowy” as last years,
and I haven’t ventured far from “the window”. For some reason,
inspiration has been elusive and sometimes it helps to go back
and look at a shoot that had me fired up.
I captured the image of Socks, while he was standing in the
barn door, hence the black background while the snow fell.
I love the interaction between the horses in the other images.
On the one hand, you have bonding. On the other hand, you
have rejection. It’s tough “being Bob”.

Oh dear Suzanne, you catured such amazing photographs… So beautiful, especially the first three fascinated me… Thank you, Blessing them. With my love, nia

Just had to backtrack to find the previous post about Being Bob. I feel great sympathy for Bob. Being “different” makes it hard to fit into society. Whether horse or human.

Maybe that’s why I like Bob the best. And maybe that’s
why I find him the most lovable. My “artistic” bent, has always made it a little more difficult for people to relate to me, or vice versa. Never could get the hang of that, “ladies who lunch”.

Love the snow that was captured coming down in a few of these pictures. Especially the white horse, Beautiful work!

Hi Mike,
I love the snow too! I stayed so long grabbing shots of the horses, that the
roads were in pretty bad condition as I drove home. So happy that the images
I captured were worth it!

Thank you! I just delivered a 50 x 33 print to someone of one of the previous images and it’s amazing to see it so large.

Hi,
These are really good photos, you have captured the horses beautifully. I especially like the first photo with the black background, it really does make the horse stand out.
The interaction between the horses in the other photos are just priceless.

Hi!
I love it when they forget I’m there and they
Go into their “family dynamics” mode.
